Its predecessor, 2005's Forza Motorsport for the original Xbox, was also a victim of backpedaling release dates, finally making it off the lot six months after its initial launch date.

The Forza team unveiled the final list of 300-plus cars featured in the game, considerably more than the 230-car roster of the original Forza. The list is likely to grow, as downloadable content is expected through Xbox Live Marketplace and the Forza Online Auction House...
