Black and White 2 Review Online Games, October 25, 2005
Peter Molyneux's Black and White was universally hailed as an innovative switch-up in gaming prior to its launch, and frustrated critics referred to it as a toy once they'd had a chance to see the depth of the title's gameplay. The design of the sequel, Black and White 2, seems to be a deliberate response to the denouncements leveled at the original game. The result is a more traditional, less open-ended RTS with some identity issues. Despite that, being a god still has as much appeal as it did back in the days of Populous. Ultimate Ghosts 'n Goblins Review Online Games, September 5, 2006
Ultimate Ghosts n' Goblins is a definite ode to the old school series and to classic arcade games in general. It doesn't compromise its values, staying true to its ridiculous difficulty, forgettable storyline and outlandish enemies. It may not be the most innovative game on the PSP, and it's not without its faults, but old school gamers and action fanatics will find a lot to enjoy here.

...In all, Ultimate Ghosts n' Goblins is a great buy for folks that loved the original games, as it adds enough to keep things fresh. Recently christened gamers might find the old school mechanics too frustrating and should think about checking out the originals before dropping down 40 bucks on the latest version.
