Mainstream gamers are now older on average than they have ever been. When you are single and unemployed, it is easy to play The Godfather for nine straight hours the day the game hits the shelf. When you are married, it becomes tougher. When you have kids, it might be impossible. It is difficult to slice some time for yourself. And in that slice, you have to carve a portion for gaming. It is no wonder casual games that require no more than 10 minutes to play continue to grow in popularity. Ultimate Ghosts 'n Goblins Review Online Games, September 5, 2006
Ultimate Ghosts n' Goblins is a definite ode to the old school series and to classic arcade games in general. It doesn't compromise its values, staying true to its ridiculous difficulty, forgettable storyline and outlandish enemies. It may not be the most innovative game on the PSP, and it's not without its faults, but old school gamers and action fanatics will find a lot to enjoy here.

...In all, Ultimate Ghosts n' Goblins is a great buy for folks that loved the original games, as it adds enough to keep things fresh. Recently christened gamers might find the old school mechanics too frustrating and should think about checking out the originals before dropping down 40 bucks on the latest version.
